Library Reserves

The Library Reserves tool provides a direct link from a CTools course site to the University's Library Course Reserve Service. If an instructor has items on reserve at the library, the instructor can activate the CTools Library Reserves tool.

The University Library Reserve Service, located at the Shapiro Undergraduate Library, maintains a large collection of books, journal articles, and other class related materials to support the academic programs of LS&A and the Rackham Graduate School.

A list of reserved books will appear in the Library Reserves tool

Examples

An instructor may place a selection of supplemental reading materials on reserve that students may either checkout on limited loan or (if electronic) download.

Instructors may also place University Library copies of textbooks or other course readings on reserve for students who may be unable to purchase their own copy.
